Got the picnic hamper packed and the temporary Australian flag tattoos ready to brighten up your family’s faces? Fantastic. That’s the family covered.
Now how will your business celebrate Australia Day? Just close the business doors and give the staff a holiday?
This is a special Australia Day for all those aged around 10 and older as no other will be celebrated the same in our living history.
This year marks the first year Australia commemorates the Centenary of the First World War and the Anzac legend. The commemorations will continue until 2018 and then re-start in 2115.
2015 is a fantastic year to celebrate our heritage; pay respects to those who fought for our freedom and let our customers know we are truly behind all that makes us Australian.
On your company website let the world know you support this great country of ours and place an image of an Australian flag and a salutation wishing all your customers and supporters a ‘Happy Australia Day’.
Maybe add an image of a Flanders poppy and some words thanking all our veterans for their efforts in keeping us safe (like the one we have provided freely below for your use).
This Australia Day is a time to let the wider community and your clients know you care about this great country of ours. Your company could hold a pre-Australia Day morning or afternoon tea and invite a local veteran and or distinguished local citizen along. Any funds raised could be given to a veteran’s charity.
On the 26th January wear your company logo but be sure to add an Australian flag somewhere as you join in the huge celebrations in and around Western Sydney.
At Hugo Halliday PR & Marketing we believe in supporting Australia and we wish all our clients, supporters and the wider community a ‘Happy Australia Day.’ We also thank our veterans and those still serving in the armed forces for their efforts in protecting our country.
