Hugo Halliday PR & Marketing is a small full-service agency based in Paramatta which services a wide variety of clients from different industries.

We are currently on the lookout for a Marketing Consultant to join our team on an initial full-time, nine-month contract with the likelihood of an open-ended employment opportunity offered after this time.

Primarily, the role will assist with the day-to-day demands of a running a small consultancy and delivering marketing and public relations services to clients. The Consultant will work under the Director and/or Account Managers to complete client-specific marketing tasks which may range from social media management to database management to event planning. Some administration duties such as answering phones will also be required.

Each of our clients has different requirements and this role involves a high level of variety to ensure clients’ needs are met. As such, the Directors of Hugo Halliday believe in providing a flexible work environment for their employees and will support skill development in growth areas for the right candidate.

EXPERIENCE:

The ideal candidate will possess a wide variety of marketing skills and knowledge and be able to showcase the extent of these in their cover letter. All candidates should have worked within a marketing team before and been actively involved across a range of disciplines. An interest in industry trends and new technology will be highly regarded. Due to current client work, the selected candidate must have experience in database management.

REQUIRED SKILLS:

  • Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook)
  • Database management (particularly membership databases)
  • Tertiary qualifications in marketing, PR and/or communications
  • Event management knowledge
  • Excellent verbal and written communication
  • Organised and able to meet deadlines

BONUS SKILLS:

  • Graphic design (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign)
  • Photography and/or videography
