After undertaking a rebrand for Multicultural Aged Care to ‘Multicultural Care’, Hugo Halliday orchestrated a rebrand launch event to unveil their new branding.
The launch event was pulled off in a short timeline (one month) due to Multicultural Care needing their new brand active for the local NDIS rollout.
Hugo Halliday staff worked around the clock to source suppliers and turn around collateral. The biggest challenge faced by our staff was the minimal budget Multicultural Care had to work with. This made sourcing and negotiating with suppliers a little more difficult than usual as suppliers on the more affordable side generally have longer turnaround and production times.
Our staff took to doing an exceptional amount of hands-on work to combat this challenge, including hand-stuffing the swag bags, undertaking a full bump in and bump out (including decor, food, beverages, AV, registration and a theatre style set up) and picking up all the staging equipment.
On the day of the event, 70 people were in attendance (which was more than the 50 target) and every attendee received their own branded swag bag which included: a fridge magnet, a note pad, a pen, a branded cookie and copies of Multicultural Care’s new brochures (also developed by Hugo Halliday).
To unveil the new brand, we wrote the script for a short animation and had a freelance consultant animate it for us. The animation was very well received by attendees and enabled the audience to understand quickly the meaning behind the new brand. Multicultural Care now use the animation in their waiting rooms and on their website.
Hugo Halliday also obtained some local media coverage about the event (Fairfield Champion and Aged Care Guide) via targeted media releases and invitations.
When asked what they liked about the event, attendees said:
“Wonderful collection of speakers and a lovely afternoon tea.”
“Concise, well organised and everyone [felt] welcome to attend.”
“The presentations, short duration, venue.”
“The animation.”
