Glaucoma Australia needed to increase its profile and inform the public (particularly men in rural and regional Australia) about the need to for regular eye check-ups.

Hugo Halliday co-ordinated major media campaigns, community radio and TV advertising, an ambassador program involving Ross Higgins (of Kingswood Country fame), eye check-ups in NSW Parliament and many other high profile events. Hugo Halliday also obtained the backing of Pfizer Australia as a sponsor and support from the Optometrists Association Australia.
